Heathgate COVID 19 Update helps our customers begin or continue their property transactions which is of course, extremely important to us.
In April 2021, the Government amended advice on house moves as part of its lockdown easing plans. There is now more flexibility for us to allow unscheduled visitors, however adherence to safety guidance remains paramount, and Heathgate is as dedicated as ever to ensuring the wellbeing of all parties.
Visitors can now enter a our office without an appointment as long as there is space to socially distance within the branch’s reception area. They must continue to wear a face covering when in the branch and maintain all precautions to avoid the transmission of COVID-19.
Where the necessity arose, we have converted some roles to remote working, with customer-facing teams at our office continuing to work in a COVID-secure way.
Our office continues to be open in order to provide support for our tenants, as well as ensuring customers can still move when needed. In order to ensure our teams and customers remain safe, our team has taken strict precautions, including:
- Compulsory safety training for all staff members with ongoing enforcement of these safety measures
- One-way systems throughout all office spaces
- Plexiglass dividers in the office where appropriate
- Enhanced cleaning measures of all areas, surfaces, and property keys
All in-office safety precautions have been endorsed by third parties and our offices are certified as being within COVID-19 safety guidelines.
We are also offering a variety of options for our customers during viewings and valuations, including the option of virtual viewings. Whilst we can reassure customers that any in-person appointments will be carried out with the utmost concern for the safety of all involved, we appreciate that customers may prefer to use our services remotely.
Safety first:
- If you are allowing a viewing of your property, please remain in one room, at a distance, so that our agents can conduct the viewing with minimum interaction.
- If you are viewing a property please stay with the agent so that interaction is kept to a minimum. If you could minimise touching surfaces, this is always appreciated.
- Please ensure you sanitise your front door after any deliveries or appointments.
- Please maintain your distance from other residents and any on site contractors.
- If you live in a flat or residential community and have been required to self-isolating, please place your rubbish in the correct bins on a minimal basis, wear a mask and hand sanitise before and afterwards.
Guidelines for in-person appointments
All viewings are only with the agreement of the current occupiers of any property. There is an absolute requirement to wear a mask and sanitise hands prior to, during and after your visit. Visits will be kept as short as possible to ensure the safety of all. However, if you still feel unsure about our Heathgate COVID 19 Update, please do call us.
