Years in the business?
37, although I tell people I’m 29!
I love London because……
it’s diverse, eclectic and teeming with enthusiasm.
First London home
A cottage-style house in Hampstead Garden Suburb.
Favourite street
Regent Street with its Beaux-Arts architecture.
Biggest Sale
Today it would be the equivalent of £25 million, but at the time is was £6 million.
If not London, where?
New York. It’s the most similar environment to London.
Favourite places
Regent’s Park is glorious and the landscaping is beautiful. I love Fortnum and Mason as it still retains its old world charm. As for restaurants… The Ritz for it’s quiet elegance, The Ivy for great food and the local Italian called Fabrizio in Highgate for its wonderful, reasonably priced, authentic food.
Creature comfort
The air con in my bedroom helps me keep my cool!
Take one person, dead, alive or fictional, out in London – who and where?
I’d take Sherlock Holmes for a walk on Hampstead Heath, so I could try to understand the methodology of his analytical thought processes!
Aliens attack- which London landmark would you save?
My own house because that would enable me to have a stable base from which to work out the best way for humans to regain control of the universe!
